Original art from Zimbabwe across Africa and beyond
We represent the underrepresented. Great artists are everywhere, and we bring their work to the world it deserves.

Who we are
Nandi was a queen who never asked permission: the mother of Shaka Zulu, and a fierce leader in her own right. We carry her name because our artists share her nerve. They make bold work where there is no easy road for art, and too many barriers keep it from being seen in the places it deserves. We exist to change that.
Most of our work comes from Africa. We started in Zimbabwe, our founder’s home, and the collection now reaches from Zanzibar to Ubud in Indonesia. We spend time with our artists, watch them work and learn how they see the world. Then we hand-pick each piece for people who will love it as much as we do.
Everything we represent is behind this page. These are the seven we would hang first.
